Typography resources
Kevin Hale at Particletree lists some great typography resources in Typography Crash Course Roundup.
Here are a few more resources, discussions, and articles related to typography and how it can be used on the web:
- Typography: serif vs. sans-serif
- Screenfont.ca: All about fonts for captions and subtitles
- Thinking with Type
- Accessible Web Typography - an introduction for web designers
Sometimes I am really envious of the freedom print designers have when it comes to typography and typeface choices. But that’s just the way things are. Designing for the web has other advantages.

Thanks for this nice collection of links - very useful!
Is it wrong to include Flash in your designs in order to incorporate the fonts you desire?
Doug: Not if you do it in a responsible an unobtrusive way, by using something like sIFR. But don’t do it just because you can.
