After my “back from vacation” post, The economy of time, where I stated that I would be spending less time working on this site, I have heard from several people that it seems like the opposite.

I’m glad it looks that way, because I really am spending less time writing articles for 456 Berea Street. What happened was that by posting that I could take a lot of pressure off myself, and that made writing easier, faster, and more fun. And that is why I’m posting this.

Some time in June I sent Paul Scrivens, whom most of you know of, an email wondering why I never received a rejection notice from the first round of submissions for the 9rules Network.

His reply was that he hadn’t sent me a rejection; he’d sent me an acceptance which somehow got lost on its way to me. Disappeared in cyberspace. Drowned in the Atlantic. Whatever. So he sent me the details and the member agreement again, but by that time I had left for my vacation.

When I got back from vacation it didn’t feel right to join the network. What would be the point of joining a content community if I wasn’t going to bring a lot of fresh content with me?

Well, I once again think I’m going to be able to contribute, so here I am, a member of the 9rules Network.

Yeah, the Atlantic is a long journey for a single email. Glad it all worked out though in the end.

Welcome aboard Roger!

Great news! There are some really good sites that are already part of the network...the addition of yours can only make the network all the better!

I noticed you had been writing some more posts recently...I hope you can keep it up!
