XHTML and error handling
Robert Nyman has started a discussion on whether XHTML should have draconian error handling or not in XHTML and error handling.
I want strict error handling. Unfortunately most CMSs are too shaky to make it an option.

Me too. One day CMS software will grow up though.

My CMS is capable of ensuring well-formed output. It even sends pages as true XHTML to clients that accept it.
This is being applied on business enterprise sites, yes. Over 50 right now - not that many yet, but considering the fact that we’ve only been “open” to customers with it for a few months… it’s not bad :)
It’s not translated to English yet, though :(
