TILT

Next time you absolutely must use a layout table, take a look at Dimitri Glazkov’s TILT, a method for using scripting to inject a layout table into structurally correct markup.

Pretty clever. But don’t forget to provide a fallback for when scripting is disabled.

  1. I’m looking for something that does the opposite.

Being forced to use microsoft server products means I’m dealing with unsolicited table all of the time. It’d be very nice to have a script that would replace the tables with something better. But offcourse that would be useless client-side =/
