In Opera to MS: Get real about interoperability, Mr Gates, Hakon Lie has some suggestions on how Microsoft can achieve interoperability. Excellent. (via molly.com)

  1. I can only imagine what’s going on behind closed doors over at MS. They’ve always been under the microscope (if you’ll excuse the expression), but now that FF is gaining such ground, I really have to wonder what will come out of Redmond in the next year. Complete and compliant CSS? A browser that supports XHTML? The possibilities! Then again, it will take at least another 5-10 years to get rid of all the old copies of IE/6 out there…sigh.

My guess at what is coming is none of the above ;-)
