This second solo album from Mark Rae, part of Rae & Christian, brings together soul, funk, and hip-hop. The beats and basslines on some tracks remind me a lot of the stuff on the Rae & Christian album Sleepwalking, which is great. This album both rocks and swings, and contains a nice mix of instrumentals and vocal tracks. Oh yes, the vocals. Very impressively performed by Veba, Pete Simpson, and Mark Rae himself.
