Flash Totanus Loader is yet another method to embed Macromedia Flash content in a valid XHTML 1.0 Strict document. I haven’t tried it, but the next time I need to use Flash, I’ll take a closer look.

I can’t believe how important passing validation is to some people. It’s not that big a deal. If it means me having to write weird work arounds to validate, forget it.
With more and more clients asking for sites built on web standards, it’s nice to be able to achieve validation. No, validation isn’t always a big deal for everybody, but when it is, this is a possible solution.
Hi Scott, I wrote the Flash Totanus Loader code. I respect your thoughts about validation. On the other hand you know that a lot of people need validation and standard compliance for their websites. And last but not least I just suggested a new philosophy. Use XML to configure your flash application (i.e. modifying Stage properties), not only to pass variables…
