Firefox-Based Netscape IE
A couple of reviews of the upcoming version of Netscape, based on Firefox:
Two things about the new Netscape stand out: it’s ugly, and it comes with an option to “Display like Internet Explorer”. Yes, it can use the IE rendering engine. Only on Windows, obviously. That, and the fact that the preview is only available for Windows, makes me wonder if there will be a Mac version of the new Netscape.

Just incase you're (or anyone else) isn't aware, this rebirth of netscape is now under the aol banner.
Not being a user of either macs or aol, I'm not sure if their services extend to that platform. If they don't at this point, I wouldn't expect to see them developing this browser for mac.
AOL is available on Mac, and always has been. In fact, it was available first on Mac. It would seem that this browser probably won't be available on Mac, though. And that's just fine with me. This is one case in which I can honestly say, without ever having used the product, "it sucks."
Actually, I've go the beta running on my PC, and I can confirm to you: it sucks. :-)
