Tricky: A Ruff Guide

- Artist: Tricky
- Title: A Ruff Guide
- Genre: Trip-hop
- Released: 2002
There aren’t a lot of sweet voices on this one. Tricky’s harsh, whispering song-rapping fits perfectly with the dark mood of the music. Don’t let that discourage you though – this is a fantastic compilation. Visit Amazon.com for more details on A Ruff Guide.

Another must-have for Tricky fans is Martina Topley-Bird. She’s the one with the hypnotic voice on “Makes Me Wanna Die”, “Christiansands”, “Black Steel”, and many others. Her album was released recently in the U.S. under the title “Anything”. A slightly different version has been out in Europe for a while; called “Quixotic”. It’s pretty meets gritty.
Thanks for the tip. Gotta check her album out. Love the voice.
Another fav. - His old work seems better then his new.
