Moloko: Statues
Moloko’s music is very hard to describe. Vocal house/dance-pop comes pretty close. Whatever you call it, this album contains a lot of killer tracks that make it one of the duo’s best, and something you should check out. Visit Amazon.com for more details on Statues.

Moloko indeed is amazing. I had to slowly warm up to them, I did not like "Do you like my tight sweater" at all when it came out. But by the time of their breakthrough single "The time is now" they became one of my favourite bands.
The energy they convey on the albums is multiplied many times when on stage, with Murphy being the driving force. Absolutely a band you should see live when you get the change.
I've loved Moloko for years. It all started when I thought I was downloading a Portishead MP3 ("Fun for Me"). The rest, as they say, is history.
You should check out Roisin's solo effort. Even wackier.
I would like to thank you for putting me on the track of Moloko! I saw your recommendation of Roisin Murphy, and seeing as I have good experiences from some of the other music I see you are recommending, I though I'd give her a chance. Reading up a bit on Murphy brought me to Moloko, and it's just now I see I could've learned of them from you as well.
Anyway, thanks. They make some great sounds :)
