The definitive collection of the best Dead Can Dance material available. If you’ve heard Lisa Gerrards beautiful voice on soundtracks like Gladiator and The Insider, you know what to expect. Some tracks are instrumental, and Brendan Perry sings on a few, but the same mysterious, haunting sound that made the music of Dead Can Dance so great is there. Hi Roger, just thought I would say thanks very much for recommending Dead Can Dance. I looked for 1981-1998 but could not find it and instead bought Wake. Some great tunes, thanks.
There are some new live show cds coming out by the folks who make the cool cd cases jewelboxing.com, of course it's the folks at coudalpartners.com... http://www.dcddiscs.com/
luxuryluke: Wow, thanks for that info. I thought they had split up.
Dead Can Dance has got to be one of the best bands ever. Their sound is truly unique and the voice of Lisa Gerrard is so enchanting. @luxuryluke: thanks a lot, now I'll have to spare my allowance for ten years. I just cannot resist the temptation. Think they'll be sold out by then? :)
