Eric Meyer on CSS
I had been advocating the use of web standards for a long time before I bought this book, but it was more in the sense of using valid HTML than completely separating structure from presentation. Reading this book gave me the confidence and arguments needed to ditch all layout tables and start making fully CSS based designs. Being project based, the book is very hands-on, with lots of real world examples showing how to move from tables to CSS for layout.
