Some people never learn
Zeldman writes a bit about .Net and standards. Seems like there is a bit of a discussion going on about this at a couple of places. In a .Net-based project I’ve been involved in recently, I was horrified by the crappy HTML that the things built-in controls generate. Obviously I shouldn’t have been surprised, considering where .Net comes from, but I thought even those people would have noticed by now that we’ve left the 1990’s behind us. Years ago. Fortunately I don’t have to use .Net in other projects.
