Keep your windows closed (take 2)
I stated below that I am no fan of sites that take control away from the user. But in those few cases when you really need to open a link in a new window, New Window Links in a Standards Compliant World describes how to do it and still have your XHTML 1.0 validate. Looks like something I may want to implement in sites I build for clients. Obviously there needs to be a way for the user to choose whether links should open in a new window or not.
